NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Result declared: Check PDF & Steps to Download Allotment letter

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to announce the final seat allotment results for the NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round today, February 21. This marks the culmination of the highly debated 2025 postgraduate medical counselling cycle.

Following the closure of the choice-locking window on February 19, the MCC is processing allotments for exactly 2,980 vacant MD, MS, and DNB seats across the All India Quota. The scramble for this final round intensified dramatically after the qualifying cut-off was controversially slashed to the zero percentile, bringing a massive wave of 95,913 newly eligible candidates into the fray.

Candidates who successfully secure a seat in today’s allotment must physically report to their respective medical colleges between February 22 and February 28, 2026, to finalize admissions, pay fees, and verify documents. Failing to report within this strict window will result in the immediate forfeiture of the seat.

How to Check Your NEET PG Stray Vacancy Result:

1. Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.

2. Click on the “PG Medical Counselling” tab on the homepage.

3. Navigate to the “Current Events” section on the right side of the page.

4. Click on the link titled “Final Result of Stray Vacancy Round PG 2025” (This will download a PDF file).

5. If you have been allotted a seat, log in to the candidate portal to download and print your official Seat Allotment Letter, which is mandatory for reporting.
