Breaking: NEET PG Round 3 Choice Filling Extended “Till Further Notice” due to New Seat Addition

In a major change for postgraduate medical aspirants, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an urgent notice today announcing the extension of the Choice Filling deadline for NEET PG 2025 Round 3.

Why the Extension?: According to the official notification, the decision was taken after the National Medical Commission (NMC) and NBEMS approved additional PG seats (MD/ MS/ Diploma/ DNB) for the 2025 academic session. Since these approvals came after the start of Round 3, the MCC has paused the deadline to include these fresh vacancies in the seat matrix.

What Candidates Need to Know:

The choice filling period has been extended “till further information.” There is no fixed closing time yet.

The new seats will be added to the Round 3 seat matrix shortly. Candidates will be allowed to exercise choice filling for these newly added seats once they are live on the portal.
