NEET PG 2026 Result Declared: Direct Link, Scorecard, and Cut-Off Marks
The long wait is finally over for thousands of medical aspirants. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) officially announced the NEET PG 2026 result today, September 24, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the crucial postgraduate medical entrance exam can now access their qualifying status and All India Rank (AIR).

The NBEMS has released the results in a downloadable PDF format, which does not require login credentials to view.
Visit the official NBEMS portals at natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
Navigate to the “Public Notices” section and click on the NEET PG 2026 Result link.
The PDF document will display the candidate’s application ID, roll number, total marks obtained (out of 720), and their AIR.
Candidates can use the “Ctrl+F” function on their keyboards to quickly search for their specific roll number.
Individual scorecards with detailed login access will be available shortly.
NEET PG 2026 Qualifying Cut-Off Marks
Alongside the results, NBEMS has announced the official category-wise cut-off criteria. The maximum achievable score this year was 720. To qualify for counseling, candidates must meet the following minimum marks:
General / EWS (50th Percentile): 262 marks.
General PwBD (45th Percentile): 244 marks.
SC / ST / OBC (40th Percentile): 226 marks (this includes PwBD candidates in these categories).
Answer Key and Counseling Timeline
In a significant move for transparency, NBEMS confirmed that the official NEET PG 2026 answer key and candidate response sheets will be published on or after October 1. Each candidate will be able to verify Question IDs, response IDs, and assigned scores through their individual applicant login. Furthermore, counseling is expected to begin approximately 30 days post-result, pushing the likely start date to late October.
