NEET MDS 2026: Exam Confirmed for May 2, Registrations Opening Soon

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is gearing up to launch the registration portal for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2026-27 session.

Key Dates & Exam Details:

• Exam Date: The computer-based test is officially scheduled for May 2, 2026.

• Timings: The three-hour examination is expected to run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

• Registrations: While the exact launch date hasn’t been announced, NBEMS has indicated that the online application window will open “soon” on their official website. Candidates are urged to keep their documents, including their DCI registration and internship certificates, ready for upload.

Eligibility Criteria Refresher: To be eligible for NEET MDS 2026, candidates must hold a recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree, be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or a State Dental Council, and have completed their mandatory 12-month rotatory internship on or before the NBEMS-specified cutoff date.

NEET MDS remains the sole entrance gateway for admission to dental postgraduate courses across all dental colleges in India.
