NEET PG Counselling 2025: MCC Extends Round 2 Reporting & Resignation Deadline to Dec 29

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced an extension for the reporting and resignation deadlines for Round 2 of the NEET PG Counselling 2025. Candidates now have until December 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM to report to their allotted colleges or resign from their seats. This decision follows requests from candidates waiting for state counselling results.

Candidates reporting for admission must download their allotment order from the official MCC website. It is mandatory to carry the allotment letter along with original documents to the allotted institute. Essential documents include the NEET PG admit card, rank letter, MBBS degree and marksheets, internship completion certificate, permanent/provisional registration certificate, and valid ID proof, among others.

Prior to this latest update, the MCC had already provided a resignation window that was open until December 26, 2025. The committee’s decision to further extend the timeline aims to accommodate students who wish to resign their Round 1 or Round 2 seats in light of ongoing state counseling outcomes, ensuring a smoother transition for applicants.
