Key Counselling Guidelines

Candidates are urged to exercise their choices carefully. The online portal allows applicants to arrange an unlimited number of choices in their preferred order, subject to their eligibility. However, these choices cannot be edited or reordered once the Round 1 deadline passes. The seat allocation for the second round will be based entirely on the choices submitted during the first round.

Importantly, if a candidate is upgraded in the second round, they are mandatorily required to join the newly allocated institute. The initial seat will be considered vacated and passed to the next candidate in order of merit. Failure to join an upgraded seat will result in a heavy penalty of Rs. 3.00 Lakh
