Point-Blank Assassination: 45-Year-Old Paediatrician Shot Dead Inside Bijnor Hospital
In a horrifying escalation of violence against healthcare professionals, a 45-year-old paediatrician was brutally murdered inside his own clinic in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday evening.
The Incident: Dr. Rajkumar, who had been operating the Shivalaya Health Care Centre on Dhampur Road in Nagina for the past four years, was in his ground-floor cabin at around 7:00 PM when the attack occurred. According to police reports, an unidentified young man arrived at the hospital on a motorcycle, walked directly into the doctor’s cabin, and shot him in the chest at point-blank range before fleeing the scene.

Dr. Rajkumar was immediately rushed to the local Community Health Centre but was tragically declared brought dead on arrival.
