Two MBBS Students Killed in Car Accident Near Karanodai Flyover in Tamil Nadu

In a tragic road accident reported in the early hours of June 6, 2026, two third year MBBS students lost their lives after the car they were travelling in overturned near the Karanodai Flyover in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu. According to police, the four student ,studying at a private medical college near Periyapalayam were returning to their accommodation near Ponneri after visiting a friend in Red Hills. Preliminary findings suggest the driver lost control of the vehicle while approaching the flyover, causing it to overturn. 

Victims Identified, Two Students Undergoing Treatment

The deceased were identified as P. Amrish (23) of Madurai and  lS. Saran (23) of Dharmapuri,  both third-year medical students. Two other students, A. Mukesh (21) and , R. Aban (23), sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment. Authorities transported the bodies to Government Stanley Medical College Hospital, Chennai,  for post-mortem examination according to Indian news express
